Headliner and pillar
He guys I just wanted to see if anyone in the DC-Baltimore area has redone their headliner or pillars with material to give the interior a better look

Well, those A pillars are going to be a _____ to remove. B pillars are fairly easy, but you have to get some other stuff out of the way first (trim below them, seat belts) and the C pillar is about the same as the B. The headliner pretty much just pulls off when you have everything else removed (pillars, dome lights). There are some snap things (IIRC) and some velcro type stuff around the sunroof.
Re-upholstering is one option. You could remove the fabric from the pillars and paint them (easy) and there is some fabric dye spray stuff that you could use on the headliner. I haven't tried the spray dye myself, but Burstaneurysm used it on the liner in his 'B. It came out pretty good, but I don't know how much work was involved.

You should look into flocking. I have done my A-pillars and they look awesome. If winter ever ends I plan on doing the headliner, b, c, and hatch trim as well.. its fairly easy to do at home, it just makes a big mess... heres an example.
kind of hard to see it, I'm going to see if I can get some better pictures once it warms up
