Intercooler piping welder in MD?
I'm trying to find a place that can do custom intercooler piping in MD. I tried Southern MD Custom and Insane Exhaust in Huntington, MD, but they only weld steel and were asking $375. The ONLY pipe I need redone is the hot side from the turbo to the intercooler. The intake piping, and I/C to throttle body are all fine.
The first attempt was done by a local muffler shop. The turbo was not installed yet so they did a best guess fitment with the turbo and intercooler installed on a spare engine out of the vehicle. It was close but not close enough so I had to cut it in two places to rotate the pipe and shorten it to get the fit right. Also, the welds are far from clean, and look horrible without paint. It's holding boost so seems to be mechanically sound, just looks bad, not something I want on a show vehicle. It's a daily driver, not a trailer queen, but still, looks matter to the judges.
The main issues I'm having are that the pipe is 2", which seems hard to get, places here don't weld on aluminum, which is cheaper and lighter than steel, and There are 4 bends in it, a 90, 45, 90 and 90 with the bends rotated a pit from horizontal or vertical.
I'd love a 1 piece, mandrel bent but can't find a place to do 2", much less have it come under $400. I can easily live with welds if they are clean, but can't seem to even find a decent welder. Any suggestions? here is the setup:

Never mind. I don't really know the guy but he's a neighbor of a friend... I was told he does exhaust work at his house and he does good work.... But I was also told he doesn't have a pipe bender yet. Sorry man
