well, all they are going to test is your gas cap, which since it is attached to the car, they say "adaptor not availiable" and then scan your obdII.

you'll be fine as long as you don't have a cel, or alot of telltale smoke coming out your exhaust.

it says something like "noticible white smoke being emitted from the exhaust for longer than 10 seconds at a time"

something like that.

The muffler doesn't really do anything emissions wise does it? I mean, it is just there to muffle the sound of the exhaust process but doesn't really do anything like the cat does. Am I wrong?

as far as exhaust goes, it just says it can't be smoking, and can't have any leaks. doesn't say a thing about noise levels.

but if you have blantently aggressive exhaust, they might decide to take a peak of the guy gives a damn.

at the Annapolis test station, the OBDII scanner is after the rollers and there is no line that doesnt have them.

They wont care too much about your exhaust. I took my 89 civic that was swaped, running no cat and Thermal exhaust through and they mistook my resonator as my cat I suppose. It still passed with plenty of room to spare. They didnt roll the rollers since it sat so low. They gave me a gas cap and tailpipe test.
