Jesus. Crazy Extended warrenty people. When asked if I wanted that I just glared at the Finance Manager and he was like just had to ask. When I used to do service writing, there was a time when this guy with a Saab came in and he had an extended warrenty so we looked it over and found a ton wrong, turbo was going bad, dipstick and tube were broken from oil eatting at it etc... Well they sent an inspector out and then called us up saying that they werent going to cover much of anything. Since the turbo was not fully gone, they weren't to cover it, call back when he was broken down on the side of the road. The contract said that dipstick and tube were covered but physical damage was not, well since it was broken, that was physical damage and therefor not coverable, I screamed at the warrenty rep well how else would it be broken?

So yea I hate those. Even if I had one, it would be void by now, 67,000 miles and turbocharged by me. Can't imagine how many warrenties that would void.

That is why I stopped going to car shows this year. Cause I have seen most of the cars before and it gets boring.

I'm sure that if you hadn't placed you would have said the same thing I did. I explained in the VIP thread why I was utterly un impressed. The judging was MEH they gave out throphies to who had the most $hit on their cars and that certainly didn't mean they were the best looking cars, to the contrary.....some were so busy with crap that they looked like such.

I thought the sense of the scion community would have been greater, more smiling/friendly faces. That's why I brought my older sis, to get a vibe of why I love Scions. Yeah that did not turn out as planned. Not worth the drive, imo. Maybe saturday was fun, sunday was uhm yeah.
