Where can I sell old rims?
I have several sets of old wheels I'm trying to get rid of. One is not repairable, one is (these are bothe aluminum) and the stock steelies. I'm trying to free up space and am looking for a place that might buy them even for just scrap metal. I live in the greater baltimore area. Thanks for any help. Couldn't find anything on google.

craigslist, ebay, if you have atleast 50 posts, you can sell them on this forum, which you do. as far as selling an unrepairable rim...don't know what the scrap value of it is if any...unless you maybe find an artist who uses metal and such in their sculptures or something.

Yea, my steelies are 15"" The other two sets are 18", both damaged, one set has a cracked spoke which is unrepairable. My sportmax 002s were annihilated in a recent crash where I flipped my car over a median (Don't fall asleep driving!!). Guess I can put them on ppc for cheap.

Does the steelie come with a tire? How worn is the tire? Is it from an 06 or earlier xb? What would you want and would you meet somewhere to pick up/drop off?
Glad you are ok. I see people leave the road at night, bounce off the guard rail, but I got 700 watts to keep me awake.

Well I just took a look downstairs and I could only find three of them
Im not sure where the fourth went but the three I have got at least 60% of the tread left, maybe more since they only had about 5 - 10K miles on them. Willing to let them go for free just to get rid of them. They wont fit the new car.

If you're looking to sell through ScionLife, make a new post here:

For local sales try craigslist or there may be another local classified site, I know here in St. Mary's we have somd.com. You can also try scion club forums or clubxb. Baltimore has a lot of industry, check the local yellow pages for scrap yards or metal recyclers, though I'm not sure if they'll be interested in small volume items like two rims.
Since he's only asking where to sell I'll leave this open, but if you're listing price, etc. please make a new thread in the classified section.
