Overview
The Charleston Challenge Road Rally is a one day, TSD (time, speed, distance) rally, open to any street legal car. The rally takes place on the back roads of the Charleston area. Interstates and main roads are used only for transit from on location to another. The distance traveled is between 100 and 150 miles.
Each team will consist of a driver and a navigator. The driver's job will be to maintain the specific speeds given in the race instructions and help watch for road and street signs while negotiating the automobile. The navigator will insure the driver is given the proper commands given to each team twenty minutes prior to race start. The primary objective is to stay on course and follow the directions.

it was HORRIBLE.
it's not a race, supposed to be more of a scavenger hunt/trick driving directions and find your way type deal.
this one was POOH. after we got lost the 3rd time due to directoins being bad, we came home.
it started west of Ashely, ended up in Walterboro before we quit.
