Hey guys, I'm working on putting together a car show next month for Scion owners. Friday, May 26 is Scion Night at Smokies Baseball Stadium. The first 500 admissions get a free Scion hat. In addition we're trying to organize a show.
Prizes will be awarded during the baseball game. Any Scion can enter, it will be about fun, there will be prizes that can be won even if you don't have a heavily modded car.
It will be sponsored by the three closest Scion dealerships, but anyone is welcome.

As it stands, the $25 registration will get you admisson to the ballgame and a buffet-style dinner. Not too bad. I'm still trying to get the details organized in between my work schedule. Right now I just want to put the word out there and try to gauge the level of interest in this.

I have someone working on a poster for the event as well. I'd appreciate some feedback and I'll post as I get more details nailed down.

Still working it out. Smokies' Stadium is pretty fired up about it. Hope to get it nailed down today (Thursday).

 

Everything is going forward. The poster artwork should be posted on this thread by Monday. The event is pretty straightforward.

Registration begins at 4:00pm
Cost is $25.00, which will include one buffet dinner and one admission to the ballgame. Additional buffet/ballgame cost is $16.50
Baseball game begins at 7:15pm
Prizes winners will be announced during the ballgame.
This is an inaugral event, it's mainly about fun and providing the first East Tennessee Scion owners' event. If response is strong, we'll definitely see about doing it next year and taking it up a notch.
Prizes will basically break down into three categories: xA, xB and tC, obviously.
And then there will be a "best of..." first and second place. The Smokies Baseball website: www.smokiesbaseball.com will be posting a pre-registration form you can print and mail. I don't think it's up yet, though.

I wished i could make it down for this show but i have to work a 12 hour shift that day and i cant get out of it....Since i have the weekend of right after that.......anyway you all have fun

cmon jome its a friday night bro drive down and back for a few hours of fun and meeting new peeps. Im going to tell all at the hooters meet on the 21st
