that was a stupid statement.

Gas trucks from the Charlotte area have been coming here to Wilmington to get the fuel trucks loaded. i noticed more fuel truck traffic on I40 today.

but also the price I'd imagine it would go up due they have to drive all the way down here and bring the gas all the way up there.

my one drive from Wilmington to Charlotte was the worst experience I've ever taken. I'd rather drive I40 to I85 take the extra hour and 100 miles then drive 74 all the way up.

Sciond i know how you feel. i somehow drive about 70 miles a day and really go nowhere. im jobless now so finding a job down here sucks. might move up your way or up in the Triad area again.

Believe me this sucks a lot! and i have plenty of gas here. but they never say how much

Some of us are too young to remember the 70's so you will have to lead by example
also if you start working here in charlotte I have a warm bed for you if you need to conserve gas

I've tried to drive better to save gas but it doesn't make a big difference in the XB2. It just makes me frustrated when old women flip me off when they go around me. The extra MPG or 2 that I use driving like I want is worth my sanity.

I did buy a motorcycle at the beginning of the summer as a new toy and it became my primary transportation to and from work and anywhere else I don't have to carry anything. I get 53 MPG on the bike and as much fun as my XB is, the bike is more fun.

gas was $3.55 earlier and then 3 hours later jumped to $3.61. 10 dollars from dead empty @ $3.58 got me a 1/4 tank :-\
