north carolina taillight law?
Im smokin out my tail lights black this weekend, and a buddy of mine told me that in NC you have to have a reflective marker in your tails or i will get pulled.
you will still be able to see me brake and everything, i dont know if this is true or not.
this is what they are going to look like....hopefully

the reason for the reflector is in case ur taillights go out, people behind u will still be able to see ur car because their headlights will reflect off ur reflectors. i just left a softball game and one of the guys taillights was out but i could see the reflectors. i pulled him over at a stop light to let him know and he didnt know what theproblem was so i followed him home to make sure nobody hit him from behind. try it out at night to see if u shine a light from a distance whether u can see them.

*state inspector here
passenger vehicles under a certain length and width, you do not need reflectors
*Passenger vehicles are noit required to have reflectors
but if your tinting the taillight or their is a cover on it, it will fail. or in other words if it comes on my inspection bay, it will fail.
nut leave your reflectors in and keep it safe. dont tint them IMO
