Default Siphon Magazine feature cars wanted

Hey everyone. My name is Jeff Creech and I am a local freelance automotive photographer. I was recently contacted by an editor at Primedia and was told Siphon magazine is currently looking for "B-specs and micros FULL TIME!! Fit, xB, xA, versa, yaris, etc..." and there is a very high probability that if your car is clean enough, it will get in.

I live in Louisville, KY, but currently go to school full-time so I am looking for a car somewhere within a 4 hour driving radius of louisville, and/or other cars further that would be willing to meet me somewhere half way.

Anyone interested should post up a few sample pictures and a brief list of the modifications. Thanks alot.

For more information about me, and a sample of my pictures you can check out my online portfolio at www.jeffcreech.com

Jeff is an awesome photographer. I have seen his work on other forums. Might have to contact some Scion owners in Louisville to see if anyone is interested.

If you are ever looking for a car for Siphon in the Baltimore/DC area and you want something weird and interesting hit me up. My car is under construction right now, but when it is done it will be an Echo with an Xa front end. It is also turbocharged. THX

Two more suggestions for the Baltimore area. There is a guy with an RS2 xB with a 350 chevy V-8 and a Ford rear end, he has it tore apart right now for finishing the interior but should have it together in the spring.

Also, I'll throw my ride in there. It was converted to have a rear wheelchair ramp, bamboo flooring, Mac mini, supercharger and a bunch of other stuff. I'm still working on body mods but once completed might be willing to make a trip to KY for a shoot.

Yeah, I saw you post on the other site. The problem is I am still a full time student and just simply dont have the time to make a 7-8 hour drive. This is the reason I said it is important that it be within a few hours of Ohio/KY or have someone who would be willing to come to me.
Also the editors are looking more for feature photography, not event photography. While this event would be great for networking, it qualifies more as event photography, which they havent asked me to do.

Sounds interesting. If you know them well enough could you either contact them or give me contact information to where I could see some pictures. Baltimore is a ways away, but maybe they would be willing to drive.

Thanks for the compliments guys. Some good looking cars in this thread, but I'm pretty sure the editors are shooting them down because of the minimal power upgrades. A lot of these cars look like they belong more in a PASmag than a Siphon.

hmmm...if they are looking for high powered xb's/xa's your going to have very narrow choice and not many people I have met in this area have the money to do lots of go and show..since go is extremely costly in these cars....typically they have to do a litle of one and a lot of the other, unless your looking for a full sponsored cars but none of this was clear in the opening to thread....you may need to be more specific..hope this helps

nothing new. those with money make money or the exposure. im not knocking them, its just that those of us that live paychek to paychek r at an unfair disadvantage come showtime. i know going into a show that ill lose out to body kits, lambo doors, and turbos. regardless of whether the work is quality or assembled by a 10 yr old. although i do get a kick out of people's reaction when i tell them my best mods come from home depot.

LMAO...I still have to keep telling the HD associates "Don't worry about what it's for....this is what I need!" You tell them it's auto related and they get all paniked and run away.

a couple of the guys have started asking what im making for my car. they're used to me now so sometimes they even try to help with other ideas. sometimes u need to think outside the box in order to mod the box.
