alright good to know. i am in that mood sometimes. i think we should have an install party one of these days. i am always down for helping people work on their cars. although it would cause me to buy even more ____ for my car than i already have.

First and foremost, I'd like to thank Scion for hosting the event last night. For whatever reason, I had the impression that the purpose of the event would be to discuss the cars and how they could be better, not how to make the brand seem cool...but whatever, what's good for the goose is good for the gander. Maybe this is just me, but I couldn't really picture many of the people there, especially those that were most vocal actually buying a Scion. Lastly, I don't think you're going to make a brand cool by sponsering events alone, I do think it would behoove you to consider product placements. It would be funny to see an xB at a bar/club/beach party/ filled with ice and used as a cooler for beer/alcohol. Convince the military to replace the Hummer H1 with xB's...

I would also like to say thank you to Scion for hosting the focus group....it was entertaining to say the least. But damn did I feel out of place being the old guy..LOL
Tim, I have to agree with you, I was under the same impression.

Thanks to everyone for showing up. I was a little surprised at the amount of people that didn't own a car and I can see where they are going. They really want to blend some of these things...have an artshow/carshow. They show their form of expression and we show ours!! Also letting more people find out about Scion that might not. It isn't always about getting the people in the room to buy the car. It is about getting them to talk about it, with everyone they know, and increasing the amount of people that are aware of Scion. Again, it was great having all of you there and I am sure John will be talking to you guys about what is going on in the future.
