I've gotta say I'm a Philly-area fan through-and-through...within 2 hours of both the beach and the mountains...the whole area's steeped in history, and there's always something to do. I drive a half hour north, and I'm in deer county (New Hope, etc), and a half hour south and I'm the heart of the city. But to each their own. I'm not gonna knock any other areas, and there are some places in the area I wouldn't live, but for the most part, I'm pretty happy where I am, and couldn't foresee going anywhere else.

Tod, hows the house hunting going?
ive been looking around me, and the row home that I live in is going for $220k. thats more than i was looking to spend LOL.
My best friends sister and her husband bought a fix-er-upper from a gentleman that was moved into an assisted living facility for $150k, and its in the same neighborhood as me, im keeping my eye out for another deal like that to come up.

Jim, I don't know how it is in the NE, but when I was looking out here in the burbs, it was hard to find anything below 230 that wasn't garbage. You have to look through a lot that is out of your range or junk before you find something. It will happen though. Everything is negotiable also!
