Total heli-battle! Dude, that freakin' Havoc-copter is the shiznit! Been flying it all over the apt the entire weekend, buzzin' Trish as if she were a hot, hairless Queen Kong! She's gonna wreck the thing!

But yeah, I still have my spare headlights, so we can put them on the RS3 until yours are ready! Though yours won't take as long as mine did, since we don't really need to paint yours...but yeah, if you gets 'em this weekend, we can do that while workin' on your exhaust!

I'm in a gray Malibu this week. It's a V6, so it has more power, but it's a gas-guzzler. Used almost 1/8th of a tank going to work this morning...which is a lot for a 12 mile commute!

I didn't get the loan......I asked the guy is it because the amount i asked was too large? he said no the reason why you weren't approved was because you do not have enough credit history. How the hell i don't? I paid off my car in a year and i got 6 credit cards
one of them is maxed out

 

im good been working a lot and doing stuff to the other vehicle tC is in hibernation, thats why i havent really been active around here, haha need warm weather to kick me into gear, hope everyone is well, Heard about TOD SUX! glad you are okay though brother! other then that nothing. I got some ideas in mind for the car for the season, just need the financial side and to make the contacts to get the stuff done, Hope to see everyone out sooner then later!

Sorry to hear about the loan thing...it still doesnt make sense to me if you say that you have 6 cards and paid off you car...you must have some credit...so go to capitalone.com and check them out and see what happens.....if might work in your favor....

Jer - I can see that. Credit’s not built by paying something off quickly (and having a card maxed out!) it’s built by making payments on a regular basis for an extended period of time. The fact that you paid your car off quickly actually hurt your credit more than helped it (not really hurt...just didn’t help as much as it would’ve if you had taken longer to pay it off). Money lenders don’t want to see that you can pay off loans quickly, because they won’t make any money off interest (unless there are penalties in place for paying it off before the loan's maturity date)! Also, maxing out your cards also throws up a flag that you’re debt/income ratio is too large (whether it is or isn’t, in their eyes, it is) and you will get passed over. A personal loan is different than a car loan, so if there’s a way that you can get the loan thrown in as a car loan, you’d have a better chance...
