I was thrilled last night! Never thought I'd be rooting for the Giants...but it was really nice to see that smug face of Brady's in the dirt all night. And Belichick...what an @$$! He trots off the field before the game's even done!

Hey Folks - lookin' to gauge an interest level on something...

I want to do the Scion Weekend Camp-Out At The Shore thing this summer, and I was trying to see who's interested in going, and what's the best time of the summer for everyone's schedule (i.e. mid-June, second weekend in July, etc.). I'd personally like to go in early June, as it's before any schools have let out (but warm enough that we can go swimmin')

I was thinking of finding a campground on the outskirts of Wildwood or Cape May...something pretty cheap (we may have one picked out already, but if you know of any that you'd like, lemme know). Reserve a spot (or spots, depending on who's gonna go). I'm looking to keep it in the civilized range - i.e. showers for cleaning, toilets for poopin' ('n' peein'), easy parking, electricity, maybe even a pool. Once I have a list of SERIOUS attendees, then we can work out cost and deposits 'n' stuff.

Also, I was thinkin' on makin' it a long weekend...maybe Friday-Saturday-Sunday, or maybe even staying over and coming home on Monday.

Feel free to let other people know about this (the more the merrier...and the more the cheaper) - this ain't just a Philly Scion thing!

If you're on the fence about it, just remember - there's TANK BOATS!!!

i tried setting upsomething like this a couple of years ago, but i tried to get a cheaper hotel in wildwood lol.

if you can get a place with a crapper and a shower, im sure sonya and i would be down for it!

 

That's my goal. Find a place with some comfort, but for cheaper than a hotel. Some of the hotels I've looked into were...um...questionable for human use.
