It's all good. Andrew, I didn't check SL this weekend, but next time, give a ring. I would've dropped by.
Well, baked the lights this weekend, and drilled the holes for the halos. Unfortunately, the high-beam halos don't fit completely, so they will be slightly off, but I think they'll still look good. The plastic light facing on the inside is painted rather poorly once you get in there and take a look...so I repainted them a BSP-type color instead of semi-gloss black. I masked off the "chrome" portion of the lights where the turn signal is, but when I removed some of the masking tape from the painted portion, the paint and chrome came off! So if the pain peels off when I'm done, then I guess I'll be paint the lights completely BSP...giving them a Spec-look. Shame, I was looking to be completely unique. Regardless, they should look slick by the time I'm done with 'em (prolly tomorrow or wed to fully cure the pain and silicone), and I'll be droppin' them in this weekend, weather permitting. I'll be leaving the CF lids on, since I don't feel like messing with them. Chris, thanks again for the lights!
Will, if you want, I will give you a hand with yours...the baking process is really painless (unless you've already done yours, then you prolly know that already)
And then it's on to the third brake light!
