i hate it when that happens. my one home pc has the hard drive click of death, and theres TONS of data i need to get off of it.

 

I hate the windows operating system.. i spent like 3 days getting music videos for my d3 and it craps out lol.. wtf.. and the worst part is.. i got the virus from my anti virus.. lol.. Curious on if i should rebuild it to newer specs.. or fix the HDD.. i can't even boot windows.. enter safe mode.. last hope is boot from cd.. .... *****...

umm crap lol all my scion pictures are on that hdd.. yikes.. def need to repair this...

 

Tiny xp is a super small build of xp. really quick loading, cuts all the crap out of it. Also has the vista "hour glass" theme pre installed on it. looks really nice.

I am going to load that on my car pc when the time comes for that.....

interesting... i may spark interest in that.. as long as programs run like normal.. i hate Vista.. though.. the theme is pretty nice though..

 

programs run great on it. i havent had any problems with it, and ive been running it 24/7 on my one box at home for about 3 months.

 

i'll bring it with me on friday.

 

^ sweet.. i think what i have to do is start up a pc with windows.. use the crapped out HDD for a secondary and remove all the things i need.. then redo windows on it again...

 

im thinking thats what i have to do with my machine too. i heard rumors about putting the hdd into a freezer for 24hrs, and then using it again. I guess the cold does soemthing to the platters and the ball bearings?

i dunno. either way, i'll bring you the tiny xp disc on friday. (thats if im alive by then)
