LoL @ Andy.. Anyways one guy from Q Town would like some help on his short shifter.. Tod if you would like to swing down my way maybe we can install that for him. Hopefully it isn't dark.. can always charge up the spot light though..

Looking for scion owners to hang out with makes me think of that zombie game.. we have to go out and search for weapons and survivors...

It's sort of like a creaking and a knocking noise when I move from a complete stop. It does it when I first move in the morning, and when I give it gas from sitting at a light or something. My civic made that noise, but I think I had a blown shock in that. Sounds similar.

Well if it was ur shocks u would only hear it when u hit something.. my shocks were loose when we put them on cuz it got dark so we rushed.. i think u came that night.. and i hit a bump and the bolt unscrewed. Happened to both sides but i tightened it. When did this start to happen? maybe the intake is knocking and wobbling?

That's what I'm thinking it might be as well...that's the only thing I can think is causing it. It didn't seem to do that when you left on Sat...well, not that I heard, anyway.

Come to think of it, there are a bunch of nuts and bolts lying around the area that we were working in...

But seriously, I don't know what it could be! Cisco mentioned that his Doc I intake plate moves around...but I couldn't imagine that making a clunking noise.

I really doubt it has anything to do with the intake. It's an all too familiar sound. Like I siad, my Civic made that noise. I never had it diagnosed, but I'm pretty sure it was the shock since I had lowering springs on stockies for like 5 years. It could be nothing, but I'm a paranoid f.

Ok so the noise....ill step in my expertise on this subject lol. With the tC if the strut setup isnt 100% aligned it will bore out the little notch on the hat making an awful noise. {fixing one this friday} you may need a new hat for the top. It's relatively inexpensive but it's a pretty common occurance on the tC. that'd be the first thing I would check if it's not a loose nut on the top of the strut. you do have to take the whole assembly out...it's a pain but hey...better safe than sorry.

Ed, could this noise possibly take a few months to show up? I had the TRD set up installed about 2 months ago. The dealer did it, so I'm not paying for crap if that's the problem.
