We do have a scion class. It definitely a fun event. Not just a car show but you have drifting, motor cycle stunts, music and a chance to win the Garret Turbo.

last event we had over 120 show cars and only 3 scions. This year we expect more from the verbal response on the streets.

OK, um, I don't quite get the website details... it says there will be a car show both days, $15 pre-reg for the show on the 24th, but then further down it says Car show Participants $10 per car/person for a two day pass... so how much is the two day pass really, to show one car with one person?

I'm pretty sure I will be attending the car show on Saturday, or perhaps even both days if the weather is nice or a lot of Scion peeps are going to be there on both days... so there will be at least one xD represented there...

EDIT: OK, now I went to Pre-reg and it is saying $25 for THE car show, no mention of what day, no $15 option... What gives?

can you send me the link. It almost seems like there is mixed up info for last year. The car show this year is the same day as the main event. April 24 2010. April 25 if a drift event only. Last year we had a 2 day car show. The pass was good for both days. This year spectating is free for the 25.

We will also Braille is donating one racing battery per day. Sorry about the confusion. Early entry for the car show was 15. Late entry or roll up is 25. each entry gets 2 people in and includes pit pass. First 100 to entry for the car show get a 1 year subscription to Performance Auto and Sounds Magazine. We will be featured in the magazine also so you stand a chance of being in the magazine.

When you go to the greaterreadingautoexpo website and click on the blue Registration button on the left INSTEAD of clicking on the purple "Registration is now open" link, look at the description for the events for April 25, near the bottom of the purple underlined text:

http://greaterreadingautoexpo.com/Registration.html

e will also be having a Car Show both days. Spectators and Car Show Participants have a low $10 per car / person for a 2 day pass. Children under 12 are free!

I do see now it says $15 for early registration and $25 for late registration in the April 24th section on that page, I swear it didn't say that yesterday when I was on there... but why would now be considered late registration, 3 weeks before the show? It charges the full $25 when you try to register now... crap. :?

Anyway, if you click on the purple "Registration is now open" link, it takes you through the proper registration process. They need to fix their link from the blue registration button - the dates at the top of the page are correct, but the info must be from last year and they didn't update it.

In any event, registration for the April 24th car show is now $25, so I guess we're now in the LATE REGISTRATION period, folks. It would have been nice to know there was an early registration period and a late registration period, I'd have registered earlier - never heard of a registration like that before...

I am thinking that it was save if you had viewed the website for the last time we had the event. Sometimes the computer saves information in a link. You have to clear the cashe (i think that is how its spelled). Either way, I reviewed the motor sport reg log in and put dates to make it. Make more sense. Thanks for the tip. Sorry about the confusion.

The early registration is a discount but. I can give the next 10 people to enter the show 10 off so you will get the same price (15) when you go to pay for it put the discount code mistake in and you will get 10 off.

next 10 people who use the code get the deal.

its still a good deal. The credit card makes me pay a percentage. this system doens't allow for a refund. I can credit you 10 for next year. so you can get 10 off the early entry next year.

So how many registrants you got for the car show on Saturday so far? Looks like the weather is going to behave well enough, sunny morning with clouds moving in in the afternoon, but not much chance for rain at all...

And Friday will be really nice to get the car cleaned up and ready...

to day right now we have a total of 88 pre-registered entrants. I am expecting much more. Lots of car clubs and people had called and mentioned being able to pay at the door.
