MAN! I think the state inspectionis the most STUPIDEST sticker to have! I wish all state have the same requirement with emissions and registration just like in TX. I am a student in Rochester Institute of Technology in Rochester, NY and every time I go with my girlfriend to Rhode Island (she lives there), every cops sees me having my tint that is 20% with HKS Hi-Power exhaust and they just follow me then they took off. They cant give me a ticket cuz I'm from TX and the requirement is different but I just dont understand WHY STATE INSPECTION ON OTHER STATE!

I remember my old car that I had a custom short ram intake with race header and I went to a small emission shop and they pass me but I dont unerstand why all header is not 50 state legal even though it helps our engine to get more horsepower.

I was thinking about living in Boston, MA in the future but I'm concern about state inspection. That will take me about 5 years later for me to decide.

In Maine, as long as the vehicle isnt registered in Cumberland County it can pass inspection with a CEL on. If its in Cumberland County it fails for a CEL. Not sure about how NH works.
