MA Meets
are there EVER any meets in MA? I know about the one in somerville every second saturday, but other than that?
I'd love to go to but all these meets in NJ and NY are way too far from where I live in the Berkshires to make it a reasonable day trip. The closest show to me of late is in Manchester, CT. F1 Boston was close but I didn't have my car yet.
I want to meet you all but I can't drive five hours each way to go to NY or NJ.
Is there something I'm missing, or does someone know of Scion meets in MA or CT that I haven't heard about?

well, we're starting to not do it in somerville e very second saturday of the month. i think the april one is gonna be in danvers or something. we're slowly moving the meets to different locations so that other people might be able to make it, and so that we do different things every now and then. but just check up on the monthly meet thread and toss up any suggestions on what you have to do for the meet. i'll hit you up on AIM later when i get home. i'm in school right now... =P

there's plenty to do out here...you just have to find the right places. Plenty of bars and clubs just like the ones you'd find in boston, plus a lot of paintball/ATV.
I'm willing to drive an hourish to meet up but I'm not thrilled about driving all the way to boston and back. That's just 4 hours of driving and when these things start later in the evening that means two hours there and two hours back in the middle of the night.
I see you're from chicopee. Where did you buy your car? (just curious. Maybe there's a dealer around here I don't know about yet.)

mine came from Lia scion as well. Justin and Nick were my sales people I think.
Kinda cool they came from the same place. didn't have the greatest experience with them though.
I went to balise and apparently, though they had a couple scions on the lot (and tried to sell me a tC instead of my xA...yeah) but they're not actually certified for a couple weeks according to scion corporate.
You mean balise in west springfield?

I bought my car at Lia in wilbraham as well. Modesto was my salesman, he's a good guy.
we should just have our own meet in western mass. There is always the mass driven gang that gets together. They mostly have sti's and evo's but i joined them a couple of times over at the 391 in chicopee. too bad that place is shut down now.

I am in springfield, and I should be getting my tc sometime between may 10-15.
I would be more than happy to get something started here in the western mass area if there is interest.
I personally have never done this "meet" thing before, since I have never really cared about cars until now.
What do people do at these meets? Just meet up at a designated spot and eat/drink/talk cars?
