morning guys, wow I felt lost today I had to go back like 5 or 6 pages since my last post...
Can you believe I got pulled over last night..I was going like 45 or 50 on the highway bc I was in no rush to get home so I was like I wasn't speeding so what is it..well the cop says my headlights are too blue, which I believe is true...but I say to him umm sir, I didn't know I could not have this color and got them as a gift and honestly didnt even know. He takes my license and I have never gotten any tickets or anything *knock on wood* so he says okay yuli you can go but get those checked out because that could be an equipment violation for 150 bucks... then im off on my way home. Lucky me
My friend with a tc calls me and says if that was me that would have been a definite ticket. But I'm very nice and play the dumb blonde so I think that has saved my butt.
Anyways I've got a few HID's so I might just switch over for a little while.
Might be a dumb question, but if you get pulled over and the cops let it go, is there someway for another cop down the road to know you got pulled over for the same reason with a warning?

The thing with the HIDs being illegal is true and too blue is considered anything above 6k, but usually cops don't give a hard time (in NY at least).
My ex had a Denali with 10k on her highs and those where her driving lights....DUMB BRIGHT & BLUE...got pulled over twice and no problems...possibly because she was a girl..
I highly doubt a cop will put in a warning to their computer and spread it amongst his colleagues for HIDs...you should be fine..
Don't stress over something like that . . .

I got pulled over by NYC cops when I use to have 12k mind u my 12k's were blue/white/tiny tint of purple. and he told me they were illegal and I played him and told him these were 4300k denso's from toyota/lexus and he jus stood there like ugh..."really I'm sorry" lol clown lol now I have 10 ks which are "bluer" and I have 5k's on the way cause I want white now

blue blue is annoying....my 8500k are a perfect blueish for me

yeah man I'm tired of the blue blue of my 10k's, I'm an HID ***** though I got 12's,3's and 10k's. my 5k's r gonna be sent out to me soon best output light wise but there gonna be white no blue. 8500ks?? that sounds nice were they the ones u had at the show? cause they looked damn good jus enough blue it looks good

why fail? I've been using the stock bulbs for 3.5 years, 58k miles and I have my lights on all the time when I drive, day/night.
I try not to give cops a reason to pull me over. So I try to keep things that would catch their eye to a minimum. I mean i already drive a yellow box.
