Tomas, when you drive to you see that people have an overwhelming urge to pass you? I normally just cruise at the speed limit or a little over, but even when I am going fast, people still have this urge that they have to pass me, no matter how long it takes. I dont get it.
It is rather amazing - getting challenged by Hondas and having everyone wanting to pass, but for some reason it just seems to come with the territory.

(As to the passers, the stock speedo is about 3-4 percent "optimistic," so if you are going the speed limit per your speedo you are probably just under it. With the larger tires I have on my box, the speedo is right on at freeway speeds per GPS, milemarker timing, radar, and the electronic speedo in the Scanguage II on the dash.)

Then again, I don't get passed all that much... On a slow day I'm about 10% over the limit, and on little trips (such as to Montana) I have cruised well over eighty for hours...

I guess I'm lucky - last ticket was in 1978, I think...

hahaha 1978 i wasn't even a "thought"
but yeah xB get much less "grilling" from the cops...
i get away with 80 on New York highways...where cops are ALL over.

i do get much more "action" from the little ricers as oppose to when i used to drive the tC..for some reason they think my car is slow...hahahah...little do they know ;)

I do 70 pretty much all the time on the highway. Except when I am going into the city, on 280 and 80, Im doing 80~90 most of the way. and in the city, I drive like I was born there.

I never get problem from the cops except one BS ticket, but I think it was out of state profiling. But even when I had my fully blacked out tails I never had a problem with eh cops. I think the local cops know me and the box by now, Im friendly with them.

Im just under an hour from the city.

(It's been years, but when I lived there I was just under an hour out of the City, in NJ down by Sandy Hook - Atlantic Highlands, NJ. Used to spend most weekends in the City - for some reason it fascinated me.)
