After 2 1/2 hours I finally got my car unstuck, then promptly got it stuck 2 more times
So I guess I won't be going to work tonight. I gotta upload the pics of my car, it looks like a xb in a block of ice. I had to take a hairdrier to the rear drums since they were frozen solid

My car was stuck since last night, i finally got it out at about 5 pm today. I stayed at my friends house. He lives on a back road, dead end, at the bottom of a hill. I had to hand shovel the whole road to get out. Grrrrrrr!!! Not fun. Damn municipalities. Atleast i didn't have to work and still got paid. The wonderful world of unions. All i have to do is "attempt" to make it in to work, and i get paid 8 hours, whether i make it or not!!!

Some people don't have that choice. Especially when you're in jeopardy of losing your job if you call off.

Ya i understand that. I had that this morning too. My street was a sheet of ice 1 1/2 inches thick. But the people that I was talking about are the ones where you have a clean road and drive 10-15 mph. Those people cause more accidents then the ones that are speeding around. Not that you should do that either, lol

Oh well, March and Spring (if that dang groundhog was right) is right around the cornor.

YEAH SPRING!!!!

The ebrake froze and I had to thaw it out, then when I tried to move it the front lip turned into a plow and it didn't have the power to bust through the top layer of ice lol. Then when I did move it, it got stuck twice before I even got onto the main road.

That would be scary with younext door
