so tonight, my steering wheel seems hard to turn, as if the power steering gave out. would this be due to something seizing or maybe just the power steering fluid not being warm enough (since it's really cold out) or something more drastic? i'm going to check again tomorrow morning, but I need my car to drive home on wednesday .... should i take in for service?

yeah so apparently my serpentine belt slipped off and is shredded. is there a shop i could take it to in the oakland/squirrel hill/shadyside part of town to get it replaced? (i tried jiffy lube and they cant do it)

or should i just take it into spitzer ?

i have no power steering ...

just do it yourself

its a 2 min fix

if im not mistaken, once that belt shreds you just running off your battery

when that runs out your car will die and you will need to tow it to where every you go

its like 20 bucks for the part and about 2 mins to put it on

there should be a diagram under the hood

just undo the alternator bolt and move it forward

wrap the belt around

pull back the alternator bolt (not to tight but not to loose. Should be about 1/8 of play

and your done

I enjoyed a dinner, then a nice car wreck. dude decided to flip his pick-up truck 3 times. crushed the "cab" section flat with the top of the bed.

needless to say that 3 hour adventure was fun. and we ended up flying him. so that was our yearly "big one" on thanksgiving.

anyways, hope everyone's weekend is good!!!

Did you trade in the tC or do you still have it? Back to the blue huh, lol. I can't complain. I always liked the 350Z.
