Anything going on as far as meet-ups/shows in mid-May? I'll be home from school and would be cool to see some other Scions.

my car is getting a power steering pulley bracket fixed right now .. the belts kept coming off. should be getting it back tomorrow.
i found out that my fog issue was just a bad bulb, though the socket thing keeps popping out of the housing. electrical tape was clutch.

 

Word. Definitely will try to stop by. Don't be hating on a newbie! haha

Unfortunately, we can't change the date because we have arrangements with the dealership to be there on that day every month. We can't always accommodate everyone.

But now that the weather is breaking, we will most likely start meeting up more frequently and on weekends!

 

Does anybody still meet at the Waterfront smokestacks? That's where we used to meet quite awhile ago (not Scion people haha) but I wouldn't be surprised if a) people just didn't keep going or b) the cops hassled. Although Homestead cops should have a few more things to worry about than some gearheads in a parking lot...

 

Hmmm not sure about that. It seems as though other import people don't take kindly to Scion owners (at least in this area). We seem to have our own "following" so to say. But hey, if the party is still going on, we can crash it!

 

Haha srsly? That's pretty lame. The only problem we ever had in our crew was with V-Dub owners. Probably because we always referred to them as Euro trash. Hey, they earned the name tho...

 

The same goes with the shopping center in Monroville. When you drive by you get the dirtiest looks from people.

unfortunately financial reasons have taken chicago off my list. bummer. but bills and etc. are first.

what time do we have to be there? i work til 4:30 now. overtime. i can be there (looking shoddy) at about 5:15.

 

So, I didn't get my car tuned yesterday. But it sure does still run nicely.
