Hahaha hey guys, just realized I haven't checked this since my last post in Sept. I decided to not trade it in just because of my work situation. I prob will within the next year, though so if anyone wants any of my parts, I am still willing to give them for free in exchange for your stock part (if I don't have it) and installation. I am looking to buy a 4WD Suzuki Kizashi.
Also, I am desperately looking for a set of stock tc wheels/tires, please let me know if anyone is selling some!

Hope everybody had a great holiday!
I spent mine 4x4ing and shooting out in the Desert about an hour and a half up north of Phoenix:
gearing up to shoot. Brought a few pistols and an AR 15
Im building the 4runner as a monster off road machine so i took my daily 4x4 isuzu truck out on the trail, just put the 31's off the runner for the trip.
My buddies truck with my little Isuzu:
That little white spec is my truck up on the mountain (6000 feet up!) We got to the top of the mountain eventually:
Me climbing up the trail:
Im looking forward to doing it with the 4runner. I have a feeling its going to eat the trail alive. The little isuzu didnt do a bad job though
anybody else have any holiday adventures?

I'm still here but I mainly post threads in the Lounge when I have questions about basic maintenance issues. I just changed my headlight bulbs for the first time a couple of weeks ago with the help of people on here. Yeah I'm a noob lol.
I'm in the North Hills area. Anyone up here?

Im, Ted
I live in the Bridgeville Area. Just bought a 07 Scion Tc a few weeks ago. It came it with a turbonetics kit and a bunch if half a$$ed mods (like racing seats held in with sheet metal screws). I have gutted the bad mods and made it safe/drivable now, but still have CEL due to a MAF current. Any help in the burgh would be great to have.

you sure your CEL is due to the MAF or the fact you prob dont have a cat? If I had to just take a guess based on the photo i would say check that. Blox makes an adapter to drop the (primary or 2ndary i dont remember) o2 sensor out of the exhaust stream so that should solve the CEL for that if that is in fact the case.
Most of the time if you had a MAF problem your car would run like crap because it cant meter the air to fuel so it fuel dumps or just sputters at idle
Yea stay far away from modded cars. Most people have no idea wtf they are doing and are to cheap to buy quality. I know from personal experience. I had 3 cars roll through my garage in the last 2 months with missing exhaust gaskets, one had a broke alternator bracket held in with a freaking tie down...... One had no t-stat... uggggg
I know how you feel man, it gets old. I go sick of dealing with all that electronic crap so now im working on 40's era cars. Im eyeing a 46 Dodge short bed right now and the g/f keeps buggin me about a Karmann Ghia nearly every weekend.
Hopefully that helps you a bit. If that doesnt help post up a bit more about the car and i can try to point you in the right direction.
yea I love how people try to get more for modded cars or feel modded cars are better then a stock one. If anything the are worth less then book. You usually end up with somebody else's problems or half butt work. I have experienced this first hand

Well I more or less got rid of the CEL (p0101). Basiclly once I realized that the dealer was full of it and lied to me. I started over by reading the directions from turbonetics and going through every piece. I found the vacuume hose on the blow off was hooked to the wrong port. The dealer said it was dyno tuned, but I found no piggy-back ecu. He then claimed that the tuner, tuned the factory ecu. Once I realize that was crap, I bought an AEM FIC and started turning. Some people here gave me tunes but none of them worker out. So I started from scratch and made my own tune. I also got one of those spectra universal MAF adapters and used just the 3"-2.5" adpator sleave from it to shrink my maf back down to the orginal size. After all that it was running fine for a few days but just last night I got a CEL again. p0104 MAF intermittent. Not sure what it is yet but prob somthing with my tune.
So yeah be careful buying a car that has been tuned by someone else. I had to buy about $1500-$2000 in parts and prob about 40hrs of my labor over the last 2 months fixing a car that "Runs Great! Professionally Dnyo Tuned!"

Basically this means that there is a problem with the Mass Air Flow High (MAF) sensor or circuit. A more technical description would be that the MAF is producing incorrect air flow readings. You will likely not notice any serious drivability problems, although there may be symptoms such as a general decrease in power or sluggishness. Also the mass air flow (MAF) circuit is incomplete (broken / frayed wire, etc.) or there is an air leak in the intake system
The simplest thing to do is to reset the code and see if it comes back. Then start with the cheapest, easiest repair procedures: Verify that the Mass Air Flow Sensor wiring is connected properly and that there are no broken / frayed wires. Inspect for any air leaks near the MAF sensor. Check the voltage of the MAF sensor or Replace the MAF sensor.
my guess is there is a leak. Check the couplers

Hey guys! For some reason I can't post in Classifieds but since I'd rather sell this local, I'll post it here. I'm getting rid of my Megan Racing midpipe for my tC. I paid the retail of $220 for it but I just want to get $100 back. I had it on for a year then took it off, it's just sitting in my garage now. It's a pretty straight forward bolt on installation for anyone who's not familiar.
Let me know if you are interested, I'd like to get it out of the garage so I can get the car in maybe. Here's a posting on some store for the part. if you want a pic let me know and I'll run downstairs and take one!

What up everybody!
Getting more work done on my arm, Nearly at the point to start on my back!
I'll have a huge traditional dragon coming over my shoulder and going down my back to my waste. (left side) and a shoulder to waste Geisha under a cherry blossom tree to my right. Filled in the bottom of my arm so I am officially sleeved from my elbow down!
Next up is the start the rest above the elbow. Hoping to start it up next week again

The Scion scene is rather dead in PA. Some people are still around, but most have moved on. Some people are still there, though!
I'm coming back for a visit this summer for my Bridal shower. We should get something going.
Jeremy! You're still alive, man! What's up? How's the HV?
