I'm about an hour and a half south of you... but I'm not sure there are many Scion people around there... at least, not on the forums.

There was this event posted...
https://www.scionlife.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=230748

And I was the only owner that went.

hahah i just moved up here i'm originally from NJ so i missed it i guess. I see some kids with scions around here but nothing special.. mostly commuter people kids who dont care too much about cars. Do you know any toyota or scion dealers around here, my car is new so i get the 5,000 and 10,000 maintenance free and i'm about to hit 5. Also looking to get TRD lowering springs and sway bar. (dad works at crestmont toyota in Northern NJ. gets discount )
might buy the parts up here.

Dorschel is good, I hear. As far as I know anyway. There's another one, but I just can't recall the name.

Hey tlk. I just graduated from RIT this summer. I drive an 06 CSM. Too bad we just missed each other. Dorschel is the main guy up there. He sells A LOT of Scion vehicles. You're bound to meet up with some owners eventually.

Ack, Hoselton is the other Scion dealer in Rochester ;)

RIT alum here (03). Too bad I live 100 miles away, and don't get out to Rochester that often. If there's a meet that I know of well in advance, maybe I can be counted in.

No one was all that specific, but this thread is referring to Rochester, NY. RIT is the Rochester Institute of Technology.

Interestingly, I've driven from Rochester, NY, through Rochester, Ontario, and through Rochester Hills, MI in one trip, while on my way to visit friends near Pontiac.

Hey, I need as many scion owners to help me out with this.

So here's something new to help with part of the chapter (wny and cny) Last night Scion sponsored a party down in Buffalo dubbed The Communist Party! and the guy scion sent out to promote - from Big Sky Marketing, or Blue Sky maybe - said that they would be coming back becasue there was a great turnout for the event, too bad I was the only scion owner there

So i'm looking to get people recruited for a chapter out since most NY chapters are located more outta NYC than anything

Plus I have a guy from fuccillo thats also willing to help sponsor events and get something going out here as well.

So who's with me?

Why was there no advertisement about this Scion event in Buffalo?! That's what ____es me off. There's all these events yet nobody promotes them to get people to go.

true stroy, i wouldn't have even gone if i didn't notice the poster for it having the scion logo on the bottom - but the scion.com has posted events up there which i didn't really know about before hand, regardless though thats not the best way.

Default Rochester Scions

Hey Tom. I've got a couple 1st gen xB's (1 winter hauler and 1 summer low rider) and another buddy of mine has an xB as well.....I used to have a tC too..loved that car. I work right around the corner from RIT and get onto campus every now and then (I'm an alum as well) ....we should plan a meet up there sometime. Anyone else from Rochacha / Buffalo / Syracuse want to meet up?
