haha i'm hoping for the same thing to happen to me. RIT seems to help people in obtaining expensive things after graduation. tC's doing it for me while i'm poor as.. well a college student hahaha.

I'd have killed for a tC (hypothetically, they didn't exist back then) when I was at RIT. I had a "free" Toyota 4Runner, which was replaced by a "free" GMC Sonoma. I say "free," because it's not cheap to own an old V6 4Runner/Hilux with almost 200k on it, nor is it cheap to own any of the S10 derivatives with 70k on them.

haha yea its a nice car compared to what a lot of other freshman have. I'm paying for the car tho and i worked a lot in H.S. to get money to pay for it. So i'm not too spoiled. I appreciate the car a lot more too.

My son goes to RIT. It's his 3rd year, so I've been up there multiple times to visit, drop off, pick up, etc. Always seem to see quite a few Scions, mostly tCs - not too many modded though.
There was a similar thread a while back, maybe some of these peeps are still around.

https://www.scionlife.com/forums/vie...r=asc&&start=0

And no, he doesn't have a car there, nevermind a Scion. I'm paying his tuition and rent - maybe when he graduates I'll give him mine, and I can get a new one.

tCoupe -Yea i dont have too much going on with mine since its an 08. I got an intake and some led swaps and other little things but as you probably know RIT isnt cheap hahah. Slowly but surely adding parts.

P.S. - the last post in that thread was like back in september.

Tannerb - I'm only a freshman so never heard of it but when I do or if you do post back here. I wanna do that. Theres so many fliers aroudn all the time so i'll probably catch it eventually. Probably be sometime in the spring. Sounds fun.

Yah someone must have found the thread and resurrected it. I will be at the scca for sure. I will call my buddy tonight that does it. He will know the dates for us. If you go to youtube and type in scca rit you will see some pretty good videos of some of the cars running through the course.
