ScionVIP @ HIN Boston - April 28, 2007
#170
So, just got back from the Backstage VIP thing at the Bayside (we know someone in the industry). Lots of fun. Very small turnout, due to the weather and all, but I got to eat, beat on a prototype xB a little and take home a bunck of swag. My chickee won a couple trophys (mostly for her personality, presenting her little-modified xA in a three-minute DVD, off the cuff), and a shirt for sceaming the loudest.
Learned a lot about the new xB, and I think I might replace my Wrangler with one eventually. Anyone know what the MSRP, I mean Pure Price will be? ;) It's not on any literature I got.
Anyway, congrats to the 40, and if you can be one of the 200 other VIP's, I also recommend it. BTW: the xD was not physically there.
I've got some work to do on that little car now...

Its an indoor show. Hopefully they will dim the lights like most years so it gives the "club atmosphere." I read that they weren't dimming/shutting the lights off at the other HIN's around the country.
And the backstage stuff is different from HIN. I went yesterday. It was cool, crappy weather sucked, free food, free stuff...

Im sure they thought of that already, especially since they requested lighting...
part of the reason why being picked thru VIP is such a big deal, at least for me. Electricity costs alot ($200+) and I cant afford that kind of bank.
And Dougie, Expo is nothing compared to SEMA and LV Convention Center...
