I've been kicking around the idea of having a Scion meet/get together at the Shady Maple Smorgasbord in Lancaster County, PA. This place is the biggest buffet you will ever see in your life and the food is phenominal. It is located smack in the middle of nowhere, lol, with farmland for miles and miles, but it's a beautiful drive and the food is worth the treck. We've decided on a meet date of Saturday, April 14th @ 1pm. Lancaster is gorgeous in spring and hopefully we won't have to worry about snow. For those interested, we're starting a roll call ASAP.

PS - Anyone coming to Shady Maple, meet in the parking lot directly in front of the main entrance. If not, we'll never find each other, lol.

 

Woah - that place looks.... big! I should be able to make it there any Saturday. Weather permitting, like you said.

 

^The place is HUGE. And there is a full basement gift shop as well, so we can have some fun down there too

 

I've let the club know.. hopefully we can get a decent crowd together.. we just need to come up with a date.. let me check out some stuff in a sec and I'll throw something out there that's a saturday so we can get the ball rolling ;P thanks for the idea

I may have a friend from out of state visiting that weekend so I might be busy. Keep me on the list though - I'll know more later.

 

Scratch me from the list. Instead of coming to visit me, my friend's getting married so I have to go there. Oh well.

 

Since the first date scheduled for this meet fell on Easter weekend, we decided to change it to the next Saturday - April 14th. Hope to see a bunch of Scion folks there. Roll Call is still open.
