ohhh I totally didn't tell you we went there for breakfast the other day it was awesome but no lie the line to get in was the whole way back to the entry door and people everywhere so those of you who mentioned having a breakfast meet it near impossible for our large crowd

 

Well I figured breakfast would be mobbed there... I'm sure on a Saturday they're busy all day...

 

lets all hope the rain holds out for us Saturday or we could have a repeat of the one last year when it was a horrible downpour.. let me speak for us all when i say that SUCKED!

 

If Im back from DC in time, Ill be there!

 

looks like it's supposed to start raining about mid-day, just in time for our 2PM feed...

Haha, Amy, I told you we should have done this on February 28, it was a beautiful sunny day then, lol!

So is everyone backing out if it is raining? Better decide soon what the plans are...

Looks like the forecast for Saturday has changed to light rain in the morning hours, then mostly cloudy during the afternoon, then showers come back in later that evening... Heavy rain possible on Sunday. So at least it should stop raining in time for our meet, everything will just be wet...

 

its more like whoever shows shows, and then we figure if its worth it or not from there.

Last time it was April, Amy, Carolyn and myself and we changed it up and went to sonic instead lol.

 

Jeez, you guys are light-weights. A little rain and you can't go outside and drive for an awesome lunch? Pssh....at least it's not snow. I've seen enough of that ish for the year, thank you very much. But rain? What is it, like acid rain or something? Gonna burn the paint off of your cars?

If I'm gonna drive 2.5 hours from the Poconos for a Scion get together (in a Honda, no less) I'm hoping other folks will show up too.....cuz as much as I enjoy SM food, it's just not the same when you gotta eat it ALONE.

 

^wow, you don't sound like a local! Since I've moved here I've learned that rain is the most terrifying element. you can't drive more than 40mph in it. However, for some reason my xB does suck on wet roads. stock tires and suspension. maybe it's the allignment that goes out all of the time because of the crappy roads. anyhoo...

I plan on being there unless everyone else is going to cancel.

We're still down for tomorrow .. it wouldn't be the first time we got poured on at shady maple and I heard also that the rain is not to be during our meet.... I'm working on taking my old decals off today..

Lancaster Shopping Center lititz pike side in the center near the wall along the road kinda by that pet supply plus side at 1:15pm ish then we'll have a scion caravan on the way to shady maple
