yea..well my dad woke me up at like 620 so i didnt know what was going on at 1st...so i just went and cleaned it up. it was so cold the paint just froze and came up really easy.

so far as the cruise control goes...it doesnt work when its bitter cold out like it has been. im thinking the relay is weak or something. everything else works fine.

the malibu was my grandparents 2nd car. they didnt needed it any more so they gave it to him. its has 39k miles on it! haha its in good shape and everything...just scary to drive, so lose. and the steering wheel is a thick as my thumb.

its a machine and machines break. Its the service at the dealership level that will make me happy or leave a bad taste in my mouth. we will see, but i dont expect it to be a big deal.

haha you have to hear what the bmw dealer tells my mom about her 3 series that has 7,000 miles on it and all the gauges flicker and the key doesnt activate sometimes for the push button start and there answer every time was "the battery is dead" and "your not driving it enough"

My dad finally called corporate and the car is back there now and they have to find the problem with proof or the car is being bought back lol

sweetness. i hear BMW dealers are the worst of the worst to deal with. they either have there head so far up there butt and think the car is faultless or are to scared to attempt to fix it.

i knew a guy with a BMW. brand new car. battery went dead ever 3 days. took it back to dealer over and over and over and over and over. they could never find the problem. he took it to an independent shop, they told him the trunk latch sensor thing wasnt working so the trunk light stayed on all the time. draining the battery. so he goes and tells the dealer this and the dealer voids his warranty because he had a non BMW certified mechanic work on the car. a few angry phone calls from a lawyer later and he had a brand new car with a few extra options thrown in. and a free service and maintenance package

it wasnt even that the switch was bad..it jsu had some of that shipping plastic wrapped around it so it didnt know what was going on. you would think checking various switches would be the 1st thing you would do.
