i know GM & Ford have a long CPO program i had no idea mazda did though. and yea...the used car market is going to explode in the next 12-24mons since no one can afford new cars.

Yea.. if you can't afford a new car - but that's always been the case, right? I'd much rather have a new car with no history than a "certified" pre-owned if I could afford it. Unless, of course, the car I want in particular is an older model year then finding an unused < 2006 is near impossible.

Do you know that the new STI has a friggin mechanical clutch. It sucks ***** compared to the hydraulic.

The tranny on the STI is a POS let me tell yeah. I gunned it out of the dealership double clutched it and slammed it into second and it felt like the car was going to fall apart.

there was an article on autoblog that Toyota is raising its stake in Fuji Heavy Industries. the parent company to subaru...speculation is that toyota could use the WRX/STI drivet rampant rain in a sports car...though all it is right now is rumors.
