theirs a way to adjust the height of the beams on the headlamps... from what i remember reading some of the tC's came from the factory with the low beams really high up.

search around a little, u should be able to find it. if not, next time i see you (if i ever do rofl) i will help ya fix them or at least show you want needs to be done.

really ha then screw that......i think the only way you will feel a difference is if your hitting a corner at 70mph but if ur doing that in an xB just bace urself because the xB would be flipped once u enter the turn haha ..

Anyways i was reading some stuff and i have a few questions..

i have a injen SR intake and the strup exhaust.....after a few months or so the ECU reverts back to factory settings correct? and you loose all the HP gains fron the intake and exhaust? So the ECU has to be reset and i do that but disconnecting the neg terminal or taking out the EFI fuse and after that i should get all MY HP gains back correct?

it will learns fast. 2-3 cold starts. if you really want disconnect the negative side of the bat for a little while. maybe do it when you do an oil change i think it needs 20-30 minutes.

and yea the strut bar is for looks sp just get the one you think looks best. after i had everything put on my car i had to take some air out of the front tires to get it to stop under-steering so much.

ok thanks! Cause i def feel a difference now from when i first had it on.....so pretty much a CAI and exhaust is just pointless cause it will always revert back to stock settings then right? or will you still get some HP out of it?

i dont think that kit includes engine management. also 18-hp will snap the drive shafts in half. just ask ZPI

here is a little shopping list i had before i got the GTI i was looking into turboing the xB. some will say its over kill and that you dont NEED some of the stuff BUT since this was going to be a daily driver i needed it to be just as reliable as before.

upgrade vs stock rods

http://www.raceeng.com/pc-8538-46-cr...1nzfe-set.aspx
connecting rods - ~$700

http://www.importperformanceparts.ne...ek-toyota.html
engine upgrade kit. scroll down to #17. ~$1000

AEM Universal Engine Management System - $2300
TRD Clutch - $275
Fidanza Lightweight Flywheel ~$300
koyo radiator ~ $500
Rotora Slotted Big Brake Kits - $1900
upgraded drive shafts- ~$1000
MISC - $1500
Total - $8,575

and that doesnt include the Turbo kit itself. which is anywhere from $2500 - $3500. and intercooler is probably another $750-1000 not to mention installation and tuning. It will get really $$$ really fast.

cheap - reliable - power
you can only have two at a time.

I doubt the gains will be worth the cash. you could make an aluminum heat shield or something and get the same effect

get a light weight crank pulley. i hear thats the biggest improvement you will feel on an Auto. also light weight wheels will help alot.
