Well, you all missed a pretty good show in MD on Sunday, it was hot but at least the humidity wasn't bad. About 200 cars, 3 or 4 live bands played through the afternoon, a lot of racing on the strip, Chris Rado and some of his cars and his huge trailer/rig were there (got my Scion hat autographed), all in all a real good show.

Duckie, I even won 1st place for the nicest xD - Heck, you should have been there to give me a bit more competition! Between my xD and the two tCs I went down with, all three of us won medals - Edie got 1st for People's Choice tC, and Al got 2nd for best tC race times. So, the York/Lancaster area had a decent showing... We were set up right next to the guy who was running the show, seemed to be a real nice guy to me... his xB was loaded with free accessories he was handing out to everyone (he only had one xD accessory with him though, some exhaust tip, and someone else got it be for me!)

There's a lot of photos and vid clips of the event over on the "York PA Meets" thread, last two pages...

Sure wish I could have made the campout this weekend, but it just is a bad week for me, and I'm low on cash right now, the gas and tolls would kill me... hopefully next year!

the escalades is to suburban soccer mom for a cool 20 something.

i like the black deville, very cool, sleek, under the radar. it says "im classy, and i know that but im not going to rub it in your face" a nice set of wheels, a tint job, maybe a subtle sound system and your golden. plus, i bet if you put a little american flag sticking off the fender people will think your important and get out of your way!

jim- forget the caddy. this might be of interested to you. it screams "big jim" to me!

thanks guys!

the part that i dislike the most about the Escalade is that its not a real cadillac. It shares most of its parts with other GM truck models. Crazy thing is, thats also what i like about it, meaning the repair costs will be lower. I like the EXT, but id rather have the standard escalade.

I LOVE the dts. Absolutely love it. im stuck between mother of pearl and black. I really like the DTS cause its what im looking for in a caddy. Major draw backs, it doesnt share any components with different GM models.

BJ, gotta go stealth on the Devil'- The pearl is nice, yes, but I think it looks a little too much like a Blue-Hair cruiser on it's way down 95 to the retirement community in Florida... You'd have to wear your powder-blue slacks, pastel-yellow short sleeve shirt, white loafers, and plaid golf cap to drive it... But at least there's plenty of trunk space for the missus's fold-up walker....

i dont mind the blue hair cruiser. thats kind of what im looking for. i have a *overly* flashy car, and it gains too much attention on the road. im looking for something to fly under the radar with.

i'd jump right on the pearl one if it had the blue rag top instead of beige.
