two things.

1- project/track cars need to be cheap. cheap to buy. cheap to run. cheap parts. cheap to fix when they break (and they will). a BMW is a not a good track car unless your made of money.

2 (and most important)- a car is only as capable as its driver. i get my ___ handed to me every weekend by an 89 Civic hatchback. and i beat a BMW 335 and EVO 9 regularly.

buy a beater car and go to some driving schools and get some experience behind the wheel of a car in a track setting. i promise you nothing you have done on the street is 1/2 of what its like on a track. and if you think your a good driver, show up to an event and be ready to eat some humble pie. im sure zack and some other will back me up.

true to all of that im sure.

But i do need a second car we will see what happens. It all depends if i get this raise im hoping for which is suposed to be and extra half of what I make now so its huge but I have to wait a few more weeks to see. That will depend on what car i will get.

My safest bet if im gonna make a track car is to get a older honda hatchback because its cheap, reliable, and easy to fix (well easier than a bmw lol)

But I just love the BMW lol i dunno ill go down that raod when It is time.

if I may add my 2 cents... get like a 98 318ti it's cheap it's turbo. better looking than a honda and it's a bmw.

i 99.9% sure its not turbo charged.

get a 1st gen neon. dirt cheap. tons of parts. light weight. some of them had like 150hp.
