2 things...

that holograph was made by 33 some HD cameras and 20 computers... (still not sure if the people in the studio could see it... doubt it tho)

2nd, that kid is kinda stupid... how much is full coverage on a car like that? seriously, cant be more then $100 a month. thats what happens when you pick the lowest cost insurance policy and dont shop around enough.

you'd be surprised man. insurance if you live in philly can get expensive.

liability on my grand marquis was $98 a month. yeah it can be that expensive.

edit: also, if he's whats considered a "high risk" driver, no major ins company will insure him, he's stuck with safe auto or a company like that. Safe auto only offers minimum coverages, liability.

Actually, you'd be surprised how many people opt for bare-bones coverage...$100 could very well be the difference between eviction and a place to live. Plus, hindsight's 20/20...he may have thought he was covered, but his insurance wouldn't cover vandalism (probably has basic liability coverage - something that many people don't even have, much to the dismay of anyone who's had run-ins with un-insured or under-insured drivers). We had a storm a few years ago that flooded a lot of creeks in my area, and there were a few people who were S.O.L. because they didn't have flood riders on their homes (these were people that were nowhere near said creeks...they probably didn't even know there was a creek prior to the storm)...my point being that who woulda thunk that people would FLIP A FRICKIN' CAR in the ensuing celebration?!?

As for the principle of it all - I am in total agreement with him...he shouldn't have to pay for the fact that people will look for any excuse to destroy things. Some of you may or may not remember the riots during Mardi Gras back in the mid-to-late 90's - the police tried to control the situation on South Street, and it got WAY out of hand. I was there with my girl at the time, and we barely made it out of there before things got really ugly (although we both got a face full of safety glass when someone threw a paper dispenser through a pawn shop window just off South). It took half the night for things to get back under control. There's no excuse for that type of behavior - and all it takes is one or two people to start something before the human pack mentality takes over and cars are getting flipped and signs are getting ripped out of the ground. It makes me sad to be a Philadelphian (well, a Suburban Philadelphian).

Philly Fans are a disgrace to the city.

They have done some really cold things in the past. We all remember the battery incident well just recently it was mustard packets being thrown.

Negative.

SOME Philly fans are a disgrace.

The majority of them are just passionate fans that can celebrate (and be ____ed off) in a peaceful - if outspoken - way. There's nothing wrong with that, as long as you know where to draw the line. There are some shiznit-heads that take it way past the point of passionate. These are people that are about two steps up the evolutionary ladder from mudskippers...and at the drop of a hat, whether it's a sporting event or a BBQ, they will all join in on whatever ensuing carnage some village idiot starts.

you're very lucky that you pay so little. are you on your own policy? i think we talked about that before. didnt you take the "safe drivers" course or something like that? You're also outside of the city. In all actuality, being female puts you at higher risk..

Robb, drop it. keep your political views to yourself. you want a debate? turn on CNN. also, how are "we" uptight? why would you even bring up CS when the people that are "uptight" had nothing to do with what went on?

Wow, good one Rob. I appreciate the maturity level or the name calling. The picture above was found on a blog that i visit (www.bitsandpieces.us) I found humor in the picture, so i posted it.

Also, there is no reason to bring up a relationship that you were not involved in. Thats fine Rob, i'm glad you're looking out for her, but there is no reason to try and stab at me like that. Whats done is done, and thats the past. I've moved on, the same as she has.

As far as sticking up for her? How would you view what I said as sticking up for her?
