update on the event... from theorganizers of street wars

just wanted to me make sure that everyone is clear that you have to stop by a "SW camp site" before coming to SW7 .. at these camp sites you will be able to, register "day of", pre register "pre reg", gather and roll in together .. cool ? I am going to open a Discussion about this as well thanks everyone !

LOL Yo son.... attendee convenience is the word. LOL

It is a nice thought + wish them well. But, I believe nothing is more easier for a person attending than online registry or at the event Vs physically now needing to drive to a campsite to pre register on a exact day/time which may or may not be at a local site or off travel route or inconvenient for those with a busy schedule. thus, possibly some now not going.

Things seem to have run ok last year and not much of a wait entering for the amount of people attending. Ya just got to get up early if possible like any other car show event.

BOOOO!! on the campsite idea. It should just be one spot and one spot only to enter and pay to either show or spectate. Less headache for everybody and its more controlled.

Jim dunno what to tell you... sometimes things can't be "Jim's" way. That's the way they want to do things so be it. lol I don't like it. I believe they are expecting a larger crowd since they picked up 2 big sponsors. Keep in mind it's a charity event....

from Street Wars
hey, its pretty simple guys, there is only 2 ways to get in the school..

last year, people would register at the school backing up the parkway because the north is the heaviest traffic we get and it all leads to exit 44

so with the campsites we can lead everyone away from that exit and away from the 2 entries at stockton and that will fix the issue we had last year

if we dont fix that issue we might not be able to host this again the following year

a message from the admin of stockton college, and the local and state police

now as for the location some of you will be happy and some of you wont to be completely honest but we are going to do our best and see that we hit the right spots

keep in mind we cant just show up and set up shop, all locations need communications and remember this is a volunteer job and the people that we have working on this are in deed volunteering there time, to some its priority and to some people its just not ..

so my hands are tied as to the people we are working and the help that we have to make it happen .. if you wanna help please let us know ... ernie@tribe-agency.com

as of right now
66mvp.com = exit 100 on the parkway is the stop for all the northern cars
southern camp = tbd
west = tbd

if you have any suggestions please let us know and it would be helpful if you wanted to help but just letting us know your thoughts in a positive way helps a long way ..

this honestly is such a huge PITA for us people coming from so far away. Now we are going to need to go to our hotel that is 15 min away from the school and go find the check point... Just to come back to the school.

Any more info on these meeting spots? It's getting pretty damn close to crunch time for those of us getting hotels... exit 100 is near 2 hours from the college... Anything closer?

from the street wars staff:

ok, so its office NO camp sites, PAY PAL is the best way, second is pay when you get there you will be parked and have to pay as soon as you park with a ZTA sister ... note if you dont get a verification sticker on your car you will be not be counted for you participation and asked to move to the general parking area .
