at the tracks. If you are showing your car, there is a Scion section... or if you are racing, then you go straight to the tracks to run..

Bad news... the CEL came on 120 miles later. Its just a "fooling" technique and isn't going to work on 100% of our cars. I went one step further though, and had a high flow cat with an O2 sensor bung right after it installed on my midpipe. I'm going to extend the O2 sensor wires to put the O2 sensor in the new location tomorrow and seeing if it all works out. I should be able to pass emissions. :D

Tam, you can still try what I did though as it has worked for plenty of people just not me...

From the header install DIY in the tech section (https://www.scionlife.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=56520):

You will need a set of Spark Plug Anti-Foul's they are 18mm HELP! brand Part#42002 or 42009.

You will need to drill out a 1/2" hole in one of the Anti-Foul's

Unbolt your 2nd O2 sensor *NOT THE ONE ON THE HEADER, THE ONE ON THE S PIPE*
(I would spray a little WD40 on this o2 as well before removing)

Now screw on the Anti-Foul with the 1/2" hole on top of the regular one and then screw it into the hole for the 02.

Screw the 02 into the Anti-Fouler's tighten everything up, Then disconnect the (-) Battery terminal for about 1 minute.

And BAM no CEL.

I think I am going to take my car to a shop in the morning.. Finally found a place that has a guy that specializes in Toyotas.. my friend said he built a 1100hp supra... I'll let you all know how that goes.. Don't want to recommend anything until i figure out if the info is legit or not.

Will do. I'll call you just to rub it in if it works....but then with my luck it would go on again right after I hang up the phone. :D Good luck at the shop though.

Turns out the exhaust shop that did the custom work on my midpipe welded the catalytic converter the wrong way (they are universal so it doesn't affect the actual unit) so that the O2 sensor "bung" that was supposed to go after the cat was put before it thus making it pointless to be there. So friggin annoying! I'm going to call him today and have him weld a new plug for the sensor after the cat..but he's in RI so its just an annoying pain in the **** to go down there. Boooo...

How was your luck Tam??

Haha I know. :D

Not sure yet when I'll go back. I went last Thursday afternoon and I would prefer not to waste my weekend time driving an hour away just to be there for 15 minutes. I'll be down in RI during the week a couple times over the next few weeks so I'll figure out a time when it'd be best for me to head down.
