This is my first post on this board although I have been lurking as a non member for some time. I have to say that this is one of the better forums that i belong to.. Seems like a tight knit community of freinds...... As many of you know, Rockingham Toyota/scion in Salem, NH has had great succes in hosting some of NE hottest car shows.... This year we are looking to make it different. Different i mean that we want it to be a scion event... We have tentative date of September 22, 2007 ( which is a saturday). My question to you as the scion owners is WHAT do you want in a show? What would make it special and apart from all the others? What do i have to do to make it appeal to you? I am looking for ANY feedback in regaurds to a scion event.. What it comes down to is this: We want to host a show for you as the scion owners, thought of by you as the scion owners.... We want you to become a part of Rockingham Scion's car shows......

night show for starters would be cool,gives everybody a chance to show thier lighting,ect and better temps

i think a night show would be cool....maybe start around 4-5 ish go till about 10 or so...obviously trophies,maybe cash prizes...and giveaways!..and actually timmy im goin to pm youa baout something i want to do...so look for it!

 

It wouldn't be a "carshow" without a bikini /model contest.
throw in some decent food as well. count me in. I'm down for some work as well.

Darn, I'll be at a tournament in CT that weekend.

have some kind of contest at the event people can do team/partner things like spare tire throw or trivia was a hit at backstage.

 

LOL, i knew that was going to come up.. We have to keep in mind that this will be taking place at the dealership with customers present. Although i do appreciate your thoughts. keep them coming...

 

The show will be the 22nd of September 2007. Registration ours will be from 2-5pm and show hours will be from 5-9pm. This is set in stone with a rain date of Saturday the 29. So plan your date!

 

sweet i should be settled in my new home by then so i will show up. i havent been to a show in a long time, ( not too many shows in the summer time down herein fl )

 

i can wear the bikini but i'm too lazy to go to NH. maybe for a local "show"....

 

I'm going to quote you on that.. haha.

ok guys just picking up from timmy...we met this past wednesday about the show!

my boy DJ ITALIAN ICE will be mixin it up like crazy...reg is from 2:30-4 and show starts at 5-8 free admission...tons of trophies an dgiveaways! and teh deff date is sept 22!
