I think he meant to say "Hurlburt Scion Show for Sat SEPTEMBER 22 has been posteponed", referring to this past weekend. Just my thoughts. :D

I was glad to meet some of you here at the show. I think it went pretty well for all those involved. Although it went good, we are always looking for feedback about the show. Thoughts (Good, bad) and suggestions on making it better for next year would be great!

Thanks Again

Timmy

this is just my thought but you might want to develope a "amature" class and a "pro class such as iasca(international auto sound challange association) does so that average joes like most of us that do most of our own work are not put up against people that show up with the shop cars that they built and use for promotional purposes with essentially unlimited funds, time and products.those of us that just do what we can to our cars from paycheck to paycheck just cant compete with that and this should be a concideration at any show for that fact.sorry if this sounds like a rant but its just very frustrating to me

Another member has also suggested similar to what you had. I understand where you are coming from. Next year we will have a class similar to "mild" for those who have some modification ( what are your thoughts?). It is unfortunate that these shows are assentially contest of who puts more "Money" into a vehicle sponsord or not, and i wrong in saying that? Is that a true statement? I would love to break the stereo type of shows being "Money driven". Although i think our judges where pretty fair in judging the cars, it is in my fault in not having a class for those who can't, won't or rather not "spend" outragous amounts of money on a vehicle but would still like to be recognized for what they done... What are your(s) thoughts?

Thanks

Timmy

yeah it was fun. the judges did a good job, especially since there were no mild or wild categories. if it was just one big show, they had to judge what was there, and they did. that lexus was hot, i loved the mustang too. and of course the superman escalade

thanks guys for sayin i and my other friend sfrom team precision concepts judged"fair"..it means alot to us as individuals judgein a compition like that it is hard to make everyone happy at these events..i kno wfirst hand what it is like jamie cutler haven building a fe wcar sbefore my tc it is hard to compete against "money makers" with unlimited funds.

like my buddy timmy sai dnext year we will work on haven more classes for scion.

and also i think some people think when people from other car teams or friend sof others in car teams think teh "judges" favor certain people, i'll say its not true at all. as it may seem it there is a lot of things that are put into judgeing an individual's car..cleanlyness,represintation,quality is huge nuthin u just put together the night before, and quantity as bad as it sounds.

i hope i didnt "____" anyone off but just wante dto let you guys know from a fellow car enthusiast and judge and vice president and spokesperson for a car team...its hard guys!

but enjoy it!

ill see you guys soon..

P.C!!!!!

you did a great job, with the judging, organization, and making it a point to talk to everyone there. sometimes, judges and the head people of the show dont even bother walking around and talking to people. i say dont change anything, maybe make some more classes but other than that it was one of the better shows in the area in terms of smaller local shows.
