Miguel, I didn't mean to sound apprehensive. And i still don't mean to sound that way. So please take what I say in stride.

I know that this is a starter group. I have read all the posts from the beginning. I think $25 to join is not bad at all. I was concerned when I saw a post saying that there should be regularly recurring dues. I'm sure we all have good ideas and plans. I look forward to seeing everyone on Thursday. I hope you can make it.

For everyone else, Let's meet up by the movie theatres at Bay Plaza tonight so we can get to know each other and find out what we're going to be all about. I'd say 9:30 is a good time. I'm tied up till about 9.

The Club has not been formed yet. We are all in the process, which by the way, you are part of.
The $25.00 enrollment fee is not yet applicable but it will be eventually since that fee covers the team shirt and decals.
There will be several meetings before any of this takes place and we would love for your to be a part of the beginnings of this great team.
We all have brought great ideas and plans to the table so far, but we need to finalize them. Help us make this Car Club different, better and more serious than anything you've seen.

I want you to undestand, this is not a formed club yet and most of us have no experience forming one. All I know is that I want to be a part of something different, more meaningful, more fun, more involved.
I was part of the Bronx team Haterz and all we did was hang out at parking lots and drive around. That was a waste of time and money. I want to have a fund, implement technical discussions, go to six flags, bear mountain, florida.
I would like us to have our own shows and host community events, etc. im a very ambisious person and I am looking to associate with people like me.
You seem like a great candidate.

This is the preliminary stage. There is no formation of a team yet. We are not asking for any subscription fee or dues at this time.
At this time we are looking to see how many people are actually interested in helping to start getting this team off the ground.
We are planning to have several local meets before we really make the team OFFICIAL. I am trying to organize a meet tonight at Bay Plaza movie theatres at 9pm tonight and hopefully we'll have many people at our larger meet tomorrow in scarsdale, read the previous posts about location address and time.

We do not have an operating website yet.
Once again, we are only in the preliminary stages of setting up a team. This is just to spark interest for the future. I'm not in charge either. Miguel is the one who is trying to put this together, but I am taking initiative to try and help out.
There is a large number of people from the Bronx, New Rochelle, and as far up as white Plains that are interested in a tighter local group. I myself am currently affiliated with Team ScioNRG. Everyone here may or may not be a part of another group, but we're trying to do something local that will not be so, shall we say, commercial. Of course our intent is to get a big name for ourself without being a National organization.

I presume. Miguel, correct me if i'm wrong on any of these points.

Bay Plaza is in the Bronx off of the Bartow Avenue exit from i95 (I believe it's either exit 11 or 12).
