I payed 10 bucks for parking though, but there are free parking during the weekend and after six at some garages. Got in free.
It was worth it, b/c i got a scion jersey(color of LA Lakers), a scion keychain flash light (pretty cool batman skylight thing style), a scion beanie(which is reversable), some keychains, some scion breathmints, scion mag, ipod holder for car, and a scion cd sampler. Didnt notice other places giving out stuff except for 76.
There's two scion sections, one in the aftermarket place and one in the regular place(where u get the scion stuff, gotta talk to the person who works there he asked me if i had a scion, showed him my keys and got free stuff). And a xB in the CCD booth.
Carshow was ok, just like going to a dealer but with no pressure. Today was only thursday supposely its better fri/sat/sun.

hmm.. i hung out there today (was wearing the red jersey) and yesterday at the scion booth talking to the guys hanging out there... also answered lots of questions to random people too... made me feel so smart... hahaha.. i don't think you should've had a problem if you had your keys with you. the jerseys were for owners, not really the kids (though at some points they did give them out during presentations) whoever said that the jerseys were for kids only is way wrong... which guy told you that?

people are damn vultures when it comes to freebies.... we went through thousands of keychains (at one point i think 100 disappeared within 5 minutes) sheesh... and people kept asking what the iPod sock was...

well.. for today anyway i popped up at around 1pm or so.. i'm thinking it might've been the skinny white guy that was wearing a black jersey? cause i'm pretty sure the other guy that was there didn't show up until much later.. and i guess we missed each other becuase i didn't see anyone with an SE shirt..

but anyway.. kinda understand that all of the show attendees were kinda jerks about the jerseys and other supplies... i swear the crowd was just vultures when it came to the scion freebies... the guys went though thousands upon thousands of keychains and iPod socks.... it was nuts... if i was there, i made sure that scion owers knew about the jerseys and that it was for them... (there were other times where they made a presentation or something and gave out the jerseys as well... imagine the crowd riled up for those...)

scion is great when it comes to freebies... but i can understand trying to limit the amount given out (esp, when there was a very limited supply of the jerseys compared to everything else)

and also... nice meeting you theo (spelled that right?) great to have you around. and yes.. aftermarket alley was disappointing..

oh brad.. the rest of the auto show was great... just that aftermarket alley was something seperate... that part was disappointing...

great stop for the potential buyer of any car out there... companies had their lineup all on display to show off...
