Default HELP!! concord toyota dealer, CA is a total rip off.

Hi guys, today i went to the dealer and asked how much would they charge for installing the trd spring for my tc. They wanted to charge me for $700 installation fee.. wtf. Are there anyone who lived by the bay area and lowered your car with a decent price?

actually i found someone in pepboys to help me install for a decent price, but i thought it would be better for me to have it install at the toyota dealer because i can always go back if there are something wrong.

$150 from Gabe at Precision Muffler. Great guy, great work. He's been doing Scion spring installs for years.

I drove down to Milpitas from Napa, and couldn't be happier. You can then take it next door to have the alignment done at Auto Innovations.

What the hell? There's no way a spring install can be 700 hahaha.

$700 for a spring install? My son and his friends rented a spring compressor from an auto parts store and did it themselves for a fraction of the cost for his TC. Then he took it to a tire store and had it aligned.

I wish I went to Gabe before I attempted to do it myself, installing springs on a tC is nothing like installing it on Honda, vw, etc. I spent more than I had to and at the end I said F it and went to Gabe.

I mean install probably wont be so bad if you had the right tools: impact gun, impact sockets, and ish, I know people use breaker bars but I tried it and shyts tough.

Dude, I will totally install your springs for only $699.99.

No seriously, Dave at Steven's Creek Scion Service Dept. or Gabe at Precision Muffler.
