There is going to be a car meet at 8:00 pm at Tapiocafe in Tracy. So if you live in Tracy come on by and chill and meet other car folks. They have boba tea, Lumpia, crepes and all that good stuff.

If it starts at 8, how long do you think it's supposed to go on til? I'd love to go, but I get off work at 7-7:30 coming from San Jose, so if it's gonna be over by the time I get there...that'll just suck. Then I'll have to find something else to do in Tracy just to make it worth my drive.

They close at 10pm. It should go until then. That's a far drive.

Mapquest says it should take about an hour. I don't know what speed mapquest thinks I may be driving, but I'm sure it's a little slower than what I'll be doing. So the extra MPH may offset any traffic still lingering after 7? I hope?

It usually takes me about an hour and 10 to get from San Jose to Tracy.

An extra 10 minutes wouldn't mean anything to me. As long as there were still people there. I'm sure on a Friday night, a few of the car people would be hanging out after the place closes. Maybe even hit up a bar or something.

Why don't you wait a little later instead of leaving early to sit in traffic? When I went up to Concord at like 5:30pm, I didn't get there til 8-8:30, but the next time I went, I left at 7 and got there at the same time, but without sitting in the traffic!

Well, despite the fact that Brad told me it may take two hours to get there on a Friday night, I'm still gonna try and make it. It'll take me a half hour to get from work to the Fremont area, so it'll be closer to 8pm when the lighter traffic should be. I'll keep my fingers crossed and hopefully a couple of you guys will still be around by the time I get there. If no one's still there, then I'm off for my first visit @ Sonic!

well a few weeks back i got off work at 4 and went out there and with 2 accidents and peeps slowing down to watch a ticket being writen it took me two hours. i figure at 6 and if theres no accidents i should be ok. either way i'll be there.
