Non-Correctable 35% Front Tints Ticket...
Hey guys,
The lovely CHP decided to give me a non-correctable front tint ticket. It was super bright outside, and my moonroof was open too on the highway. I never got a ticket before, can I bring my car to court day and get a officer to sign it off saying the tint is off? Or do I have to pay the bail? thanks! way to start off the summer =(

(assuming you're in CA) I'd say call the number on the ticket. Pretty sure it's automated too. Press the right buttons and it'll tell you if the ticket is really correctable or not.
If it is correctable, proceed to get it signed off and pay the $10 fine.
If not correctable, it'll tell you how much the fine is (somewhere in the $100-$200 mark).
It sucks, I know, but that's what happens when laws are broken =[

The CHP is starting to only issue non-correctable tint tickets. This is due in large part because of so many people openly disreguarding the NO TINT ON ROLLS LAW.
It is non correctable and you will have to pay a fine. It also depends on how you respond to the officer will also effect this type of ticket in some cases.

i got one from CHP a couple months ago. mine was correctable however he notified me of CVC24004 which means if i re-tint it and get pulled over again it is no longer a fix-it ticket and can go on my record. usually for the first one it's a fix-it but be careful if you re-tint them. i'm not even going to waste my time.
