Yeah Jeremy, I meant drilled rotors. Damn this working and posting online. But at least the point got across to people. That was my goal.

yeah i know drilled is weaker. but if chambferred correctly the cance is low unless you build up INSANE heat. the drilled/slotted are ceaper. and i know i can get new calipers in a few years. and yeah the toaster is quite light.

The toaster is light and I would hope that you don't plan on driving it like a race car. That's what the Supra is for. Even if it is just a Supra!! LOL, just playin' bro.

There is an argument about the drilled and slotted rotors being weaker, it all depends on the compound of the rotor so noone can say hey they are weaker, this might be true, I mean you can find "brembos" rotors for $90 at the same time you can find "Brembo" rotors for $400 a pair. currently it is proven fact they perform better on the race cars and that's why 95% of big companies make them, I mean I don't think Wilwood, and Brembo would put their name and background on the limit just for having good looking setup and even most of the super cars comes with these from factory, This is just my opinion and I would run them on my cars, I know they will eat the brake pads but gotta pay to play!!

Eather way I dont see anyone winning any autocross events with a xB. Dispite its already sexy handling, my stock rotors work just fine, the only reason I would want better brakes would be because each wheel weighs 20 + lbz, or if I just want to do a stoppie heh :D

That's another good point for better braking, I don't remember but in one of the shows they were comparing stock chevy truck with 24s and then they tried the stop-tech brake setup, big difference I don't remeber the numbers but it was huge, I mean yeah if someone adding over 40lbs over stock setup on each corner I would assume that would be a big rolling mass down the highway @ 70 MPH.

Ok, now I love my xB and all but lets get real here. An xB would not own an AutoX. Even set up properly it's lacking hp, and is still top heavy. Plus it has a tendency to swing the ___ of the vehicle out while aggresively cornering. And with it being an FF, that's a very bad thing. I've been driving SCCA AutoX events for over 5 years now and have competed with 3 different cars. An xB would get murdered out there.

I think that some people forget this one point. xB's were never meant to be race cars. They look really good, are a blast to drive around, and can carry people and/or cargo perfectly. I'm not trying to start a flame war here bro, but that was an outrageous claim. And I don't think you want to go into arguing racing technique and theory with me. I'm pretty well versed in it.

allright. sure.........

the xb wins in it's class. at least alot of people on scionlife sure seem to be doing well but i guess they don't. sure.......
in fact.... I remember one fellow who had better track times than evo's and a skyline. not saying a whole lot since it's apples to orangs but just saying.

i don't autox. but i'm just stating.

i guess i just don't know cuz i don't have the ability to have a "real sports car" like you and sean. lets just say any car can become anything. and until you autox one ...

also i'm not saying that you're saying this ( zac) cause you aren't but i hate wen people look down upon someones abilities , and knowledge just cause they drive a slow fwd car. aka me with my scion. i get no cred about anything cause i can't afford to run an illegal car or pay out the **** for insurance. sorry just a rant......

let me just say i'm not lying . never have probably never will. it isnt something i do. so unless 30+ guys on scionlife are lying about their auto x experiences.........
