Places to eat in San Jose Area
Hi folks, per popular request, here's some good places to eat in the SJ Area.
Falafel's Drive In
2301 Stevens Creek Blvd
San Jose, CA 95128
(40 294-7886
Good middle-eastern food. May be a bit odd if you're not used to it. Very messy but good.
Amato's Cheesesteaks
1162 Saratoga Ave
San Jose, CA 95129
(40 246-4007
Ginormous cheesesteaks. Duh. Bread is pretty thick but they give a good pile of cheesesteak here
STUFT Pizza
2898 Homestead Rd
Santa Clara, CA 95051
(40 244-9444
Nice thick giant pizza - crust is too bready for some people but good for an Ed-sized hunger.
JT McHart's Pizza
19732 Stevens Creek Blvd
Cupertino, CA 95014
Kind of similar to Stuft pizza. Open a bit later too
China Palace
688 Barber Ln
Milpitas, CA 95035
(40 894-7060
Open until freaking 3AM every day. Good stuff. Generally speaking their beef dishes tend to be a bit uneven but everything else is really good. Try the salt and pepper fish.
Tong Dumpling Pot
6184 Bollinger Rd
San Jose, CA 95129
(40 996-0317
Good chinese food for potstickers. They've got a variety of fillings too so it's not just pork. Just know that this place is freaking tiny.
Donut Wheel
10250 N De Anza Blvd
Cupertino, CA 95014
(40 252-8193
Donuts 24 hours. That is all.
Uncle Frank's BBQ
2135 Old Middlefield Way, Mountain View, CA - (650) 964-4476
Great BBQ Brisket and pork. Hours are kind of limited unfortunately. The place is in a bar. It's a very tiny building
Original Pancake House
1366 S De Anza Blvd, San Jose, CA - (40 255-7373
Get the apple pancake. It's a monster. I usually can't finish it. It's like a really hot apple tart.
Stack's
139 E Campbell Ave, Campbell, CA - (40 376-3516
Good for breakfast but don't come here on the weekends. Too crowded.
Holder Country Cafe
1424 Saratoga Ave, San Jose, CA - (40 378-6022
Same as Stack's.
