Kind of like the live 105 BFD event, but thats how it goes.
Then using that context, maybe the event should have been called 'KMEL Night' or 'Hyphy Night' and not 'Scion Night'... After all BFD is called [Live 105] BFD... not the 'Scion Customer Appreciation Concert'.

They did advertise the music and who was going to be playing; so there was no surprise on what music was going to be there or the fact that it was not alternative. I still don't understand why the music made it a bad time for anyone. I could have gone to a polka event for scion and still would have brought my kids and had a great time.

Oh heck yeah!!! Carlos got some for us as well, those things are great man. My sons love those things. I would go back just for the funnel cakes too.

Funnel cakes are the work of the devil and not of God. We take some raw dough made with butter or lard see? And then we drizzle it into a hot lard deep-fry see? And then we take it out and sprinkle powdered suger on it .

Last year, didn't they have the concert area in that "amphitheater" thing near the shark tank? And the cars were spread out in in different sections of the park.

So wrong that people jacked all of that one guy's stuff. People are jerks.

God, I so want to come up with some booby traps and put them in a showcar, - like get a non-working ipod and put some fine itching powder on it and leave it in a car. Or maybe cover it with some tacky capsicum powder. Heh. Maybe the guy would then have to go to the bathroom. OWWWWWWWWW.

How about a fake iPod that holds one of those dye packs they use in bank robberies.

my take on this was that it was fine. i'm sure things could have been better...but this is the first one for me so i can't compare it to any other scion nights.

but starting with getting into the park...it was quite a show. the donks, the dummies trying so hard to "ghost ride"...the dummies encouraging other dummies to do the same.

but i gotta say...i had a lot of fun just seeing familiar faces. sucked that i wasn't able to talk to most of them cuz they were showing and was not able to walk away to a quiet place to just catch up on things.

but i can't complain about the fact being able to ride all the rides within 1 hr's time!!! though some of the rides weren't operating...but how can i complain? i only paid 5 bucks for the whole thing...excluding the gas and toll.

the drive outta the park was okays, but DAMN...there were hella cops outside. THANK GOD!! it was getting quite rowdy...

but all in all, i expected it to be what it was. and my expectations didn't fail me. plus, scion night beats being @ my work for 8 hrs. Scion Night FTW!!!

Sorry about the rides. Im go glad I hopped on all the rides before it got too long.

Im glad to see, however, that the SL community has alot of well known members.I think we need more events around the bay area.

I only "saw" one rep, and only beacause our club's vice pres pointed him out to me. We never actually spoke to him, beacuase he was eating dinner and the VP didn't want to bug him during a meal. Myself, I was hesitant to talk to him because I realized that he was the guy that I harassed into replacing my brand new 06 xB's windshield for free when it split after 13 days into ownership. By the way, 4 reps to the throngs of people there is not great odds... it was kind of like "Where's Waldo." Don't get me wrong, I had a good time, I just expected more.

Hey, what I know, I just drive the darn thing.

there's only 4 corporate reps for the entire san francisco (northern california) region.

they hired my company to be product specialists.

the scion corp were just there

let me ask you this why did you / what would be the point of talking to / seeing them?

i'm not being a jerk just trying to figure this out.

Scion has always promoted the hip hop genre of music. Why stop now, it has obviously worked really well. I have around 15 of those scion cds and they are all hip hop or dj stuff. Just goto the scion website. The only time I have seen them do something different is BFD and that's because it's Live105's event. I wasn't supprised at all when they had Fabolous perform.

Or hook it up to your battery and shock the f*ck out of them!

To thank them for all that they have done. Or to ask them questions. They should have customer service reps that work for scion to talk to people!

the corporate reps i'm talking about are just regional/district scion managers. they interact with owners , dealerships , product , events , salespeople as well as a lot of other things.

they were there and if you're a part of the scion scene you should know jason and or jay and or mary.

if you don't know them go to your favorite scion dealer and ask if they could get ahold of you the next time their rep comes to their dealership and then you can meet up with them then.

I know who your talking about. I have met them and a bunch of other reps in the 4 years I"ve been going to events.

All in trying to convey is customer service reps that work for Scion (not a 3rd party) should be on hand at a customer appreciation event like Scion Night. I realize that there were 2 reps there, but there should have been more due to the amount of people there!
