Default Shops for spring install and alignment

So my local Big- is qouting me $600 to instal Springs really? is that way over priced its seems like it. Les Shwab won't even install unless I buy the springs from them. Anyone know someone or a place that isn't going to charge out the ___ or is that price actually right.

For the spring install, I highly recommend Gabe at:
Precision Muffler & Brake
1339 Minnie Circle
Milpitas, CA 95035
408-263-8474
Gabe's ScionLife username is Stylis, but since his xB burnt to the ground he isn't here nearly as much.
He charged $150 for my xB.

I also second Gabe. He had installed my coilovers as well and also removed my Hotchkiss springs. Besides that he can make a custom exhaust for you

its all up to you...

For the spring install, I highly recommend Bernie at:
Concept Muffler
1155 San Mateo Ave.
San Bruno Ca 94066
<650> 588 . 8337

He installed my springs and shocks for $80 and got em done in an hour.
Ive brought in so many of my friends and they were all very satisfied with his excellent work.
Bernie has also done both of my custom exhausts for a very good price.
He will repipe your exhaust for only $100.
BTW, bernie and his partner Mo are both master toyota techs.
=D

the choice is all up to u.

-gabe knows his scions. I got my shocks/springs/swaybars/strutbar. all that for about $250. hell of a deal.

-I even had problems with the suspension about a month later (some type of loose rattle?) I took it back, it wasn't any of his work that he did though, hell we couldn't even figure out what the noise was, but he took my suspension apart and put it back together, and the noise was gone. free of charge, since he said he didn't really do anything. again gabe is an amazing guy. highly recommend him. imma go to him to install a trd exhaust and doc I shortshifter.

Thanks for all the good reviews guys. Yeah come on by the shop and I can install the springs no problem. There is also Auto Innovations next door to me that can do your alignment.

Cool I'll be in soon, but instead of springs, I ended up going with some sexy coilovers =) I may have you throw together a new midpipe for me too while I'm at it LOL, Spending my commission check before it even gets here LOL

Saturday installs are only by appt. at Precision, Gabe works Monday-Friday & has a family. If you need a Saturday install, you have to schedule it in advance. If he doesn't have any appts. already scheduled he spends the weekend with his family. Call him and you will not be disappointed with the quality of his work or his prices.

You have to call him & ask. I have no idea what differences are involved with coilovers, but he installed my Tanabe springs (front with struts & rear in less than 1-1/2 hours for $150. He's also done full air ride on the 2nd-Gen so I can guarantee that he knows what he's doing. Talk to him before you consider going anywhere else.
